The College of Central Florida will offer the workshop Forming a Nonprofit on Wednesday, April 13.

The workshop will meet from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Dorothea G. Jerome Building, Room 102, at the Citrus Campus, 3800 S. Lecanto Highway, Lecanto. The cost is $49 per person.

This workshop will offer a straightforward approach of what it takes to launch a nonprofit organization. The course will cover topics such as defining the need that the association will serve in the community, selecting a legal structure for the organization, applying for tax exemption and filing the correct forms.
