Every fishing trip I learn a new technique or something a little different that helps put more fish in the box. On a recent charter just after a cold front with high pressure the bite was very slow.
As I write this report the air outside by the river is 90 degree’s, that’s sounds like summer to me! On the water it’s slightly cooler because of the breeze and as long as there is a breeze the trout have been cooperating.
If there is ever a time to catch a plethora of fish species on the Nature Coast it is now. Very calm conditions have made the near shore waters look more like a aquarium then the Gulf.
Another windy front right on schedule. I seems every 7 to 10 days we get a front and it get's snotty for a couple days but it moderates our temperatures and gives us some nice weather before the inevitable hot summer gets here.
