Citrus County Board of County Commissioners presented a Certificate of Appreciation at its regular meeting on January 24, to “Home Instead Senior Care” for work that had been done in coordinating the annual “Be a Santa to a Senior” Program. This program provided gifts to local homebound seniors during the holiday season.
The “Be a Santa to a Senior” Program was sponsored by Home Instead Senior Care, Lecanto Levi’s 4-H Club, Rotary Club of Crystal River, and Ease’s Rough Rider’s 4-H Club and had collected over 2,000 gifts for more than 450 seniors in Citrus County, bringing much joy and happiness to many seniors in Citrus County.
